Liability & Risk Management

The purpose of this resource is to provide relevant Wyoming legislative, regulatory and professional information to the Wyoming athletic training community, the broader athletic training profession and the general public in an effort to reduce liability risk and promote patient safety and health.

Mandatory Reporting — Child Abuse & Neglect

Wyoming law requires any person who knows or reasonably suspects that a child has been abused or neglected to immediately report it to the child protective agency or local law enforcement. School and medical staff still retain an individual reporting obligation unless a report has already been made or will be made.
